Crawdads Alumni Opening Day Assignments

As the rosters were announced in Major League Baseball in late March and in the minor leagues the following week, those who once wore the uniform of the Hickory Crawdads were well represented at nearly every level of full-season, affiliated competition.

At the start of the season, 135 former Crawdads players and field staff were with a major or minor league team as a player, manager or coach with a full-season team. Of that group, 35 were on major rosters as players and 10 more were named as field staff. A total of 108 were still playing in affiliated ball, 27 more managing or coaching.
