Series Preview: Hickory Crawdads at Kannapolis May 3-6

Current 6th in ERA in the SAL. Yerry Rodriguez is expected to pitch during the series as Hickory travels to Kannapolis for four games.

The Hickory Crawdads continue a weeklong homestand with a four-game series against the Kannapolis Intimidators at Intimidators Stadium.



WHERE IS IT?: From Hickory, take Hwy 321 South to Gastonia, then I-85 North to Exit 63 (Lane Street). Turn left. Ballpark is on the right.

TICKETS: Prices in advance range from $7 for general admission to $9 for reserve, $2 less for children. Add $2 on gameday.


Hickory took two out of three during a series at L.P. Frans to open the home season in early April. The Crawdads went 14-9 against Kannapolis in 2018, but the Intimidators defended their home turf by winning six of 9 there.

The Crawdads continued their early-season domination on the road with a three-game sweep at Greenville this week. Hickory is 10-3 on the road and have won all four series played at visiting stadiums. The Crawdads have also won seven of eight series and tied the other one 2-2 with Lakewood last weekend.
